About
My name is Grégory Marti. I work by video call with adults whose past keeps reaching into their present.
Who I am
I am a therapist working in psychotraumatology. My work is to accompany adults who carry the mark of difficult events — sometimes old, sometimes unnamed, often far quieter from the outside than they are from within.
I work by video call only. This is not a fallback: being somewhere familiar changes what can be said out loud, and it makes sessions possible for people who live a long way from here.
How I work
We don't work on everything at once. At the start we choose one thing — just one — and name it in your words. Then we agree on what would show that it is settled: a simple scale, nought to ten, on a specific situation. That marker is what tells us whether we have moved, rather than my impression, or yours on a tired day.
What weighs on you is the starting point, not the target. The method looks for what holds it in place — often something old, sometimes with no image and no story attached, that keeps organising reactions you have today. That is where the work happens, and it is why it can be short.
I work with the Peak States® method: mainly Whole-Hearted Healing (WHH™) and nine gamut point tapping. These are precise techniques, learned and practised under supervision. I explain what we are about to do before we do it, and you stay in charge throughout.
You remain the person who decides the pace, what is opened and what waits. I hold no goal on your behalf.
My background
I came to this work as a client. I got my sleep back after a long stretch of insomnia. That is where the wish came from, to make this work available to people other than myself.
I trained at the Institute for the Study of Peak States, and I am still training. I work under regular supervision: that is part of the frame, in the same way that what is said in a session stays confidential.
I work in French and in English, either is fine.
What I don’t do
I don’t promise this will work — that is why you only pay once we reach what we agreed on. And here is what falls outside what I offer altogether.
I make no diagnosis
No diagnosis, no medical opinion, no medication. What I do does not replace a medical examination: if something looks to me like it needs one, I will say so. If you are already seeing someone, that continues: I never ask anyone to stop.
Neither crises nor suicidal thoughts
I am not reachable around the clock. If you are in immediate danger, call 144 in Switzerland, or 112 elsewhere in Europe. And if you are thinking of dying, this is not my field: I will point you to someone whose work it is. In Switzerland, La Main Tendue answers day and night on 143.
Adults
I work with adults only. A minor cannot give informed consent themselves, and the whole frame I work in — starting with that consent — is built for adults.
No protected title
I do not practise a regulated healthcare profession and I hold none of the titles protected by the Swiss act on psychology professions (LPsy). My sessions are not covered by health insurance, and I write no certificates or reports for an employer, an insurer or a court.
A first conversation
If what you have just read speaks to you, write to me. A first conversation commits you to nothing.
